New Under Cover theme "Cultural Control"
February 21, 2011
The Spanish electro band Under Cover has released a new theme titled "Cultural Control" as a preview of the upcoming album to be launched in a few more months.

The new track is intended to be a public response and protest to the new law of censorship recently approved by the Spanish Congress some days ago.

Besides the theme, a video has also been published which contains some words taken from the speech of Alex de la Iglesia (a renown Spanish director, who clearly stated his rejection to this law's adoption) delivered at the Goya Film Awards 2011.

The video can be watched at this link and the intro text, read under these lines:

"Crisis" in Greek means "process" or "change". And change is action. We are in a point of no return and it is the time to act. No turning back. From the decisions made now, will depend on it.

Nothing was worth before, worth it anymore. The rules have changed. Internet is not the future like some people believe. Internet is the present day. Internet is the way to communicate, share information, entertainment and culture, used by a hundred millions of people. Internet is a part of our lives and the new window which opens the mind to world.

The surfers do not like to be called like that, they are citizens, they are just people.

THEY ARE OUR AUDIENCE.
